Use a resolution of 1080p or higher on your system.
Ensure that you have a stable, high speed Internet connection.
Clicking the "Launch Simulation" button will direct you to http://umiciitb.ngrok.io. It is recommended that you launch the simulation by clicking the "Launch simulation" button.
Please do not attempt to click the link directly. It won't work!
This is because the launch simulation button on the home page fires up our server that launches the simulation engine, and seconds after that the link goes live.
If you see the slider interface, and the battery percentages in the top right, but no models are loaded, then this is probably because your network provider has blocked all the simulation mesh files.
This usually happens when you use institutional networks which are heavily restricted.
Try changing your network.
If you see the Start button enabled, then click it to start the mission. If the button is disabled, and the simulation is still running, then this is probably because someone other user has already started it.
In that case, you won't have access to the sliders, but you can still continue to view the simulation, and navigate, pan, tilt, zoom in and out.
The simulation engine will automatically shut down when the mothership lands. This is the indication of mission completion.
Please understand that this simulation is hosted on a local server with limited load handling capacity. If multiple users try to access it at the same time, it results in low fidelity of the simulation. If you face issues, please try relaunching the simulation sometime later. If the issue persists, drop a mail at mridul.agarwal@iitb.ac.in.
Preparation of the environment may take a few minutes depending on your internet connection, please do not refresh, this will start the entire process all over again.
